Born on the Southside but representing the West Suburbs of Chicago, Toni Romiti is a multifaceted singer whose genuine talent is utilized to influence her listeners. Nurtured in a biracial household, as well as receiving encouragement from her neighborhood, Romiti’s diverse backdrop of influence has molded her into a vocalist capable of relating to a wider breath of audience through her meaningful content.
Her quirky – yet blunt – disposition is accentuated in her music, where Romiti feels that people grow together through shared experiences; this is how character is built. As an artist, her music is honest, often impacted by various occurrences from her past, present, and even ideals built on what she intends to become. Inspired by her late father Mark Anthony Romiti, Toni continues to sing not only as a tool to express herself, but as an instrument to honor her family. Romiti Gang is the best Gang, and with Toni spearheading the scene with a fresh outlook, she’s destined to emerge at the forefront in the current renaissance of music.
Born on March 24, she was born in Chicago and later resided in Greenville, South Carolina. She finds inspiration to make music from her late father Mark Anthony Romiti. Before becoming famous, she was a talented basketball player in high school and was offered the opportunity to play D1 college ball at South Carolina Upstate. Toni Romiti: Imma Dog Too
Toni Romiti: Imma Dog Too Lyrics:
You thought you had a fool, that’s cool
You went behind my back, that’s cool. But I can play this game like you
If he a dog, bitch, I’m a dog too.
Ain’t nobody got it like me, did you forget that all these niggas like me?
And they’d be lucky to let me be wifey, so how could you be so damn triflin’?
When you hear about the dirt that I’ve done, you gon’ be so fuckin’ hurt cause I’m the one
You thought that you could just go out and have your fun, but I can play the same game except I won
Two wrongs don’t make it right, but I’d be damned if I don’t put up a fight
You say I’m wrong cause I cheated outta spite, I say you wrong cause you cheated every night
So, if he a dog, I’m a dog too, If he a dog, I’m a dog too
If he a dog, I’m a dog too,
You tried to play me but the joke’s on you
If he a dog, I’m a dog too, If he a dog, I’m a dog too
If he a dog, I’m a dog too
You tried to play me but the joke’s on you
Two can play this game you call love
If you loved me then you wouldn’t be a dog
If you loved me then you wouldn’t creep at all
If this is love, then this ain’t what I want
So you do you, and Imma do me
No sense in playing with each others’ feelings
But every time I try to go, you beg me not to leave
So what the hell am I supposed to think?
When you love someone, you pray that they will change
But you soon accept they’ll always be the same
And they’ll always try to treat you like a lame, so in return you treat them the same way
Two wrongs don’t make it right, but I’d be damned if I don’t put up a fight
You say I’m wrong cause I cheated outta spite, I say you wrong cause you cheated every night
So, if he a dog, I’m a dog too.. If he a dog, I’m a dog too
If he a dog, I’m a dog too. You tried to play me but the joke’s on you
If he a dog, I’m a dog too. If he a dog, I’m a dog too
If he a dog, I’m a dog too.
You tried to play me but the joke’s on you.
If he a dog, I’m a dog, I’m a dog. If he a dog, I’m a dog, I’m a dog
If he a dog, I’m a dog, I’m a dog. If he a dog, I’m a dog, I’m a dog
Baby, yeahh….
