Tiffany Evans: Red Wine

Tiffany Evans has blessed the world with her powerful voice for over ten years. In 2003, at age ten, the Bronx native made her formal introduction to the world by competing on the show “Star Search” — a show that helped launch the careers of notable acts such as Destiny’s Child and Aaliyah. After three appearances, Evans went on to win the crown in the junior division competition. She made “Star Search” history when she became the only contestant on the show to receive perfect scores on all performances. Following Evans’ “Star Search” victory, she took her talents to Columbia Records where she sang for music executives. Evans was instantly offered a record deal and began crafting new music. While working on music, Evans was able to pursue her second passion — acting. She landed a small role on CBS’s “The District” in 2003 and Tyler Perry’s debut feature film “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” in 2005.

In 2004, Evans released her self-titled debut EP, which included her cover of the Stacy Lattisaw classic “Let Me Be Your Angel.” Four years later, Evans wowed music fans with “Promise Ring,” the lead single off her self-titled debut album. The follow-up single “I’m Grown,” featuring rapper Bow Wow, was produced by the prominent Rodney Jerkins. Soon thereafter, Evans began working on her sophomore album. During that era, Evans signed a management deal with Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles. In fall 2010, she released “I’ll Be There” as the album’s lead single. Unfortunately, Evans’ second album was never released and ended her management and record deal. In February 2013, the pint-sized singer released her first independent music project titled “143,” which received over 65,000 downloads in one week. The mixtape was well-received by fans and critics. Now Evans, who is married and is a mother, is hard at work on her follow-up to “143.” Her new single is expected to drop in November 2014 and her untitled project is slated to release in early 2015.

Tiffany Evans: Red Wine

Tiffany Evans: Red Wine Lyrics:
Verse 1:
Makin this dinner
Sippin this red
12 in the morning
And you still ain’t here, nah
Look at this picture
Now what’s wrong with it?
You don’t wanna know
The thoughts in my head

Bsection:
Baby I can’t figure out
Why you’d rather be out than home
I’m tired of being alone
(You’re becoming way too comfortable)
You know it ain’t really that much work in the world

Hook:
Now I’m all up in my feelings, got me sippin sippin on this red wine
Yeah I’m all up in my feelings cause you never fail to do this every time
You drive me to the Red Wine, Drive me to the Red Wine, Drive me to the,
Drive me to the Red Wine, Drive me to the Red Wine

(Oh, Sippin, sippin, sippin)
Verse 2:
I laid these red petals in your favorite stilettos, red bottoms that you like
You could’ve had the ride of your life
Red box up with the red dawn on, red kisses on just to make my mark,
you walking in its 5am now I’m seeing red

Bsection:
Baby I can’t figure out
Why you’d rather be out than home
I’m tired of being alone
(You’re becoming way too comfortable)
You know it ain’t really that much work in the world

Hook:
Now I’m all up in my feelings, got me sippin sippin on this Red Wine
Yeah, I’m all up in my feelings cause you never fail to do this every time
You drive me to the Red Wine, Drive me to the Red Wine, Drive me to the,
Drive me to the Red Wine, Drive me to the Red Wine
(Oh, Sippin, Sippin, Sippin)

Bridge:
Don’t say a word cause I’ve already heard it all before, food sittin on the stove,
gotta warm it up cuz its cold, you wanna lay up you can forget it cuz I’m feeling like being petty,
I may be trippin cause I’ve been sippin on this Red Wine… Oh my, why you gotta be so fine?
Just like this Red wine..even though I’m mad as hell I can’t keep my hands to myself Oh yeah…
