Ana Zimmer is born from a GermanRussian mother and an American father in Paris , where she grew up in a strong artistic and musical environment. Her family included classical musicians, piano players, painters and sculptors which developed her acute sense of aesthetics. After studying at the Camille SaintSaens conservatory where she learned to sing and play the piano, she performed in many parisian venues with a choir. At the age of twelve, she performedas part of a music hall show in the UK, both as singer and dancer and actor.
Later, she was asked to record an album but quickly realized that she wanted to write her own songs.
At age 19, Ana Zimmer began composing and writing in the hopes of making music her career. She then signed a publishing deal with Universal Music, and collaborated on many advertisement and film projects, whilst developing her own musical identity. Her melancholic yet catchy melodies are a mix of electronic, pop but also hiphop influences, which serve her languorous voice and powerful lyrics.
