Folk singer/songwriter Haley Coupon has shared a new video for “True Friend”. The song is taken from Coupon’s recent EP, Remembrance, out now on Heavy Roc Records. Remembrance is the debut EP from Hayley Coupon, a self-taught New York-based singer and pianist. Inspired by American folk and classic rock, Coupon writes songs that bridge the seemingly impassable divide between vocals-driven pop and acoustic, lyrically lush folk rock. With influences as disparate as Joni Mitchell and Radiohead or Leonard Cohen and Jon Brion, Remembrance reclaims and updates the spirit and tradition of the singer/songwriter art form in its confessional compositions and personal imagery.
