Olivia Sebastianelli – Rose Of Stone

Olivia Sebastianelli (born Olivia-Fay Sebastianelli) is a half British, half Italian singer-songwriter,born and raised in Croydon, South London. Olivia’s love of music has been with her since birth! Being driven around Croydon in her dad’s old Alfa Romeo’s was a bumpy ride with no such luxury as a radio let alone a CD player. The entertainment for every journey was the fullest range of music you can imagine, sang by the Sebastianelli sisters and their dad! It really is a diverse range of music that Olivia admires and enjoys.

Olivia Sebastianelli – Rose Of Stone Lyrics:
Wake up sleepy head
Take a look around
Winters creeping in
It’s your favourite time of year
Tiny sharp reminders
Caught up in a snow storm
We carved a rose of stone
In memory of your name

You know as much as I do
You know as much as I do
They tried to fool you
But you,you know as much as I do

Stay where you are
Hidden in the pattern of the stars
Lost among the flower blooms are memories that scar
You left me here to worship from afar

You won’t sink without a trace
You left to much behind
Things you couldn’t face,
Bet you laugh about them now
You were always fond of saying ‘history repeats itself to fast’
Don’t let it nail you to the past

Stay where you are
Hidden in the pattern of the stars
Lost among the flower blooms are memories that scar
You left me here to worship from afar

All the things that you fear most
Rear their ugly heads in winter
When life is short and full of ghosts and only spirits seem to linger

Stay where you are
Hidden in the pattern of the stars
Lost among the flower blooms are memories that scar
You left me here to worship from afar

We carved a rose of stone
We won’t forget you….
