Duck Sauce, the crazy coupling of superstar DJs A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, are back with a new single “Radio Stereo”. The track is a typically infectious Duck Sauce reworking of “Radio”, a chart-topping track from 1982. An Australian hit for UK punk act The Members, “Radio” was produced by legendary late 70’s/early 80’s punk and new wave Brit producer Martin Rushent, who also produced for the Human League, Altered Images and Buzzcocks. The original chorus, “We listen to the radio! It’s better than the stereo” is looped over Duck Sauce’s trademark driving, funky bass and playful sampling. Duck Sauce’s last single “It’s You” was well received by tastemakers such as BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe (he made it his ‘Hottest Record in the World’), B-Traits, Alice Levine and Phil Taggart. Sara Cox was also a supporter as were Greg James and Danny Howard who both played the track on Radio 1’s Dance Anthems Shows. “It’s You” was also well supported at Juice FM, climbed to number 2 in the Music Week Cool Cuts Chart and was play listed by MTV Dance. The video – a psychedelically hair-raising affair – has racked up 4 million views on Vevo alone.
