Singer/songwriter Dua Lipa made quite the impression with her debut drop ‘New Love’ back in August. Armed with a new single, Lipa isn’t messing about and is keeping the gorgeous tunes coming. Co-written with Pawws and produced by rising production outfit Digital Farm Animals, ‘Be The One’ is another breezy, effortless pop number that she says is about “self-belief, perseverance, and fighting for what you want.”
“Be The One” is the second single from British artist Dua Lipa. The track will be featured on Lipa’s debut album, which is expected for release sometime in 2016. The music video was released on October 29, 2015 and it was directed and produced by Nicole Nodland, who also directed her past music video of her single “New Love”. Dua described the song to NYLON Magazine in an email saying: For me, ‘Be The One’ is about self belief, perseverance, and fighting for what you want. […] In this instance, it’s about a relationship but really, this is an attitude I try to bring into everything in my life.
