Raised in New York City on Hip Hop, Funk and Rock music, Traedonya was a music baby. Born into a life of music via her mother, who had a great passion for all good music. An international party girl, who raves about the love of her passport, TRAEDONYA! is a lover of good music and good people. Her journey has taken her through many travels starting out at a very young age.
Studying Jazz and Classical Music with Mr. Reggie Workman, Mr. Chico Hamilton, Mr. MaKanda McCintyre and of course Mr. Bernard “Pretty Purlie” Purdy, her musical range is wide. Her love for Soul, Blues, Funk and Jazz are all apparent in her music and sound. Living in London and spending extensive time in other parts of Ireland and The United Kingdom, TRAEDONYA! is Generation X’s perennial party girl. Her sound, swagger, attitude and appearance are all international. She’s a funky peacock that crosses many boundaries and color lines. Touring many parts of Europe and more than half of the United States, TRAEDONYA! lives on the road. She “lives the music”. Her songs represent Peace, Freedom and Love, yet her music is raw and edgy.

“As part of the campaign TRAEDONYA! will launch her personal brand with her own line of Hip Opera Gloves featuring her new logo,” says Prohibition’s Ambassador-At-Large A.K Smith-Ford. “We were seeking a product that would be a fit for TRAEDONYA! and felt that gloves were perfect because over the years she always wore them. It was a natural extension of who she truly is. The gloves are tasteful yet current in fashion.” The song was created by soul legend Al Green in 1972 and TRAEDONYA! has done her unique interpretation which features Belfast poetess Irish Soulflower.
