Tiffany Evans – Baby Don’t Go

Tiffany Evans – Baby Don’t Go. Tiffany Evans has blessed the world with her powerful voice for over ten years. In 2003, at age ten, the Bronx native made her formal introduction to the world by competing on the show “Star Search” — a show that helped launch the careers of notable acts such as Destiny’s Child and Aaliyah. After three appearances, Evans went on to win the crown in the junior division competition. She made “Star Search” history when she became the only contestant on the show to receive perfect scores on all performances. Following Evans’ “Star Search” victory, she took her talents to Columbia Records where she sang for music executives. Evans was instantly offered a record deal and began crafting new music. While working on music, Evans was able to pursue her second passion — acting. She landed a small role on CBS’s “The District” in 2003 and Tyler Perry’s debut feature film “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” in 2005.

In 2004, Evans released her self-titled debut EP, which included her cover of the Stacy Lattisaw classic “Let Me Be Your Angel.” Four years later, Evans wowed music fans with “Promise Ring” featuring Ciara, which was the lead single off her self-titled debut album. The follow-up single “I’m Grown,” featuring rapper Bow Wow, was produced by the prominent Rodney Jerkins. Soon thereafter, Evans began working on her sophomore album. During that era, Evans signed a management deal with Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles.

In fall 2010, she released “I’ll Be There” as the album’s lead single. Unfortunately, Evans’ second album was never released and ended her management and record deal. In February 2013, the pint-sized singer released her first independent music project titled “143,” which received over 65,000 downloads in one week. The mixtape was well-received by fans and critics. Now Evans, who is married and is a mother, is hard at work on her follow-up to “143.” Her new single “Baby Don’t Go” was released in November 2014 and will appear on her forthcoming EP slated to drop early 2015.

“We all go through ups and downs in our relationships no matter who we are,” she says in a statement. “‘Baby Don’t Go’ is just a real and raw song from the heart about a situation I experienced. It’s part of a bigger story that I plan to tell on my next project.” ‘Baby Don’t Go,’ produced by Ryan “Top Secret” Anderson, is the first single off her upcoming EP, which is set to release in early 2015 via her indie label, Live Love Entertainment.

Tiffany Evans – Baby Don’t Go Lyrics:
This is the last time I’m doing this,
And I told myself it is the last time I do it no more
You know what I’m talkin’ about
Tired of keeping tracks and tryina figure out
Where you’re heading
Where you’ve been out
Once it’s over, I won’t be back

I-I-I know one thing’s for sure
If you don’t look back I’ll be moving out
Some things you can’t ignore
And I don’t plan on begging no more!
When I’m just about to walk out the door
You be like “baby, don’t go, baby don’t go,
Baby, don’t go, baby don’t go”
And you just know what to say to me boy
You be like “baby, don’t go, baby don’t go,
Baby, don’t go, baby don’t go”

This is all much that I can take all these years, your mistakes
You could’ve been replaced yeah
But I forgave you for the heartache,
But then I had to find out the hard way!
Where you’re heading
Where you’ve been out
If it’s over now, I promise this time I won’t be back!

I-I-I know one thing’s for sure
If you don’t look back I’ll be moving out
Some things you can’t ignore
And I don’t plan on begging no more!
When I’m just about to walk out the door
You be like “baby, don’t go, baby don’t go,
Baby, don’t go, baby don’t go”
And you just know what to say to me boy
You be like “baby, don’t go, baby don’t go,
Baby, don’t go, baby don’t go”

Don’t tell me that you’re sorry,
Now it might be over!
Baby you’ll looking after all this time,
I still I loved you!
If I knew I should never come in second to no one
‘Cause a real woman always knows what she wants,
Ooh oh, yeah!
When I’m just about to walk out the door
You be like “baby, don’t go, baby don’t go,
Baby, don’t go, baby don’t go”
And you just know what to say to me boy
You be like “baby, don’t go, baby don’t go,
Baby, don’t go, baby don’t go”
