The Wholls (Wolz) are a Bedford-based 4 piece who play alternative rock music for venues packed with manic fans, with a sound that sits equally as comfortably on mainstream radio along with the likes of Jamie T, Royal Blood and Foals. Their energetic & edgy live performances have steadily been building them a legion of loyal fans and frontman Tordy is garnering a reputation as an electrifying presence on stage. Bedford, U.K. quartet the Wholls (pronounced “wolz”) play spirited alt-rock with a cheeky wink in the same vein as Arctic Monkeys and the Kooks. Formed by vocalist/guitarist Tordy Cocchiarella, guitarist/vocalist Santino Cocchiarella, bassist Joe Stevenson, and drummer Daniel De Feo, the group started while still in school, releasing their Back to the Beehive EP in 2012. As fans of grime and garage, hip-hop rhythm and some dub wobble found their way into the songs, especially early tracks like “Emily.” Support from BBC Introducing helped the band in the years leading up to their debut LP release. The single “X21” was released in 2015 with a full-length expected in 2016.
