Tennis – I’m Callin’

It feels like the late ’70s in music lately. Everybody is releasing dropping disco-infused vibes. Denver’s Tennis are the latest to jump this direction with their new song “I’m Calling”. The Patrick Carney-produced cut offers up a new dimension to the pop-rock duo of Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley making us even more curious to the overall makeup of new album, Ritual In Repeat, which is slated for release on September 9th via Communion. You can also check out the previously revealed “Never Work For Free”. Tennis, the husband and wife duo of Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, are looking to follow up last year’s Small Sound EP in a big way with their star-studded new album, Ritual in Repeat. Due out on September 9th via Communion Records, the 11-track effort features production help from Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Jim Eno of Spoon, and Richard Swift of The Shins.

Tennis – I’m Callin’

Tennis – I’m Callin’ Lyrics:
Tonight they trace a fragile curve
The dim horizon that you serve
Holy movement, holy sound
A whisper rising from the ground

It’s saying let me in, I’M CALLIN’
Come on and let me in, I’M CALLIN’
Can you feel it night is falling
I’M CALLIN’ I’M CALLIN’

And now I hear your voice
Like a soft ringing, yeah
And all at once it seems
Like you’ve been singing to me

(x2)
Just when I think that you’re mine
You start to slip away
But your love is divide
You know I’m coming for you

Let me in, I’M CALLIN’
Come on and let me in, I’M CALLIN’
Can you feel it night is falling
I’M CALLIN’ I’M CALLIN’

(x2)
Just when I think that you’re mine
You start to slip away
But your love is divide
You know I’m coming for you

Just when I think that you’re mine
You start to slip away
You slip away, you slip away
You slip away, you slip away.
