Cristina Cano is a writer, vocalist, and performer dedicated to crafting rich melodic soundscapes, as well as engaging intimate and vulnerable experiences. She has been seen on stage playing keys for Sallie Ford, and Albatross. In the upcoming Siren and the Sea album, ‘This Time With Feeling’, she develops a world of seemingly underwater and other worldly symphonies highlighted by her own lush vocals, layers of rich synthesizers, bass, electronic drums, and pedal steel and baritone/ guitar.
‘Amazon’ is the first single off of Siren and the Sea’s debut record, ‘This Time With Feeling’ (coming out on February 17, 2017), in which she develops a world of seemingly underwater and other worldly symphonies highlighted by lush vocals, rich sculpted synthesizers, bass by Zachary Domer, harmonies by Stephanie Woods, and electronic drums. ‘This Time With Feeling’ was recorded and produced with Johann Wagner at Pinewave Studio in 2015, mixed at A/D Agency Recording with @karlkling (@RAC) , and mastered by Justin Longerbeam @zarefoss (@Eyrst).
