It’s crazy how long it takes us human beings to let go of relationships. We become addicted and attached to other human beings. People we just met, people that come into our lives for years and then are gone and never spoken to again. Sometimes it’s hard to accept that you spent years looking into someone’s eyes and sharing your deepest secrets, but will never have those moments or even see that person again. It’s hard to accept that you imagined spending your life with someone, only to realize that they are not healthy for you. You go back and forth, not wanting to let go, but knowing you are only doing more damage by holding on. This song feels like the final chapter of the book that is “my old life”.

It should come as no surprise that Roniit originally hails from the majestic mountains of Colorado. Much like the sweeping environment of where she grew up, her music surrounds and cradles you in its soul-searching mystery, ethereal beauty, and epic atmosphere.

As an independent songwriter, visual artist, and vocalist, Roniit digs deep from within for her songs, capturing the hearts and spirits of listeners with her soul-baring lyrics. The “metal head-turned-dark electronica songstress” (Interview, 2015) crafts bewitching, eerie electro-pop with a gothic sensibility, a mood and aesthetic that seeps not only into her sound but into her enchanting visuals as well.

In June 2011, Roniit released her self-titled debut album to positive reviews from blogs like Migrate Music News, following up her inaugural release with a U.S. tour. She released her EP, In the Shadows, in November 2012. A music video for the sweeping electro-ballad “Lost at Sea” was released the same year, marking her first music video and receiving over 45,000 views. Over time, these impressive independent releases caught the ears of EDM producers around the world, resulting in high profile collaborations with Sound Remedy, Varien, Trivecta, Fallujah, Muzzy, and Kannamix.

Last year, the brooding songstress landed a major placement for her single, “Runaway” (produced by Varien) in the U.S. theatrical trailer for the James Marsden-starring thrilled, The Loft. A few months later, Interview magazine premiered the official music video for the same song, and the “pop sorceress” was featured on the cover of Auxiliary magazine’s Spring 2015 music issue.

Currently, Roniit is just beginning to conjure something magical as 2016 unfolds, including unveiling The Crescent Manor—a special collaborative project with her roommate and fellow musician, Kerli—as well as a new album and fresh work with producers such as Trivecta and Varien (Skrillex, Two Steps From Hell).

RoniitMusic – One Last Time LYRICS:

This isn’t reality but I can still pretend
You’re always a tragedy that I don’t want to end
I couldn’t surrender you
Didn’t wanna face the truth
I wanted to feel you move
I needed to re live you
I wanted to look into your eyes
One last time
I was too afraid to say goodbye
One last time
Let me come and save you from the night
One last time
I know you can make me feel alive
One last time
I’m telling you I refuse to be someone you know
But I always lose myself when ever I’m with you
I couldn’t surrender you
Didn’t wanna face the truth
I wanted to feel you move
I needed to re live you
I wanted to look into your eyes
One last time
I was too afraid to say goodbye
One last time
Let me come and save you from the night
One last time
I know you can make me feel alive
One last time
