Mike Del Rio and Crista Ru make up the alternative pop duo known as POWERS. The two have been pulling at each other across the country from New York to Los Angeles for years, discovering their unique creations when they came together. In 2014, their collaboration with The Knocks on the hit track, “Classic,” left many people hungry for more, yet also wondering exactly who they were due to their obscurity (and infancy) as a band.
POWERS subtly dropped several tracks on their Soundcloud not long before and after their Knocks collaboration, but finally released two proper songs through Spotify in May and June of 2015, “Loved By You” and “Beat Of My Drum.”
