Lionface: Vampire

Lionface is the gothic pop brainchild of Bristol’s enigmatic vocal powerhouse Kat Marsh. With three bold releases under their belt, Lionface has made serious noise across the music scene, accumulating a growing diehard fanbase across the UK.

Lionface: Vampire

Kat Marsh’s expert vocal flourishes ring out with power and dexterity over the thunderously growling combo of her band mates Courtney Bills and Scott Claessens (bass and drums). Combined with a healthy dose of industrial electronica and guitar, the Lionface sound is one of pure infectious energy that translates as well on record as it does on stage. After a summer of festivals around the UK, including appearances at Blissfields and Bristol Harbourside, Lionface will release their 4th EP ‘Battle’ in September.

Excitement around the new EP has been mounting as fans had the opportunity to be involved in it’s creation at ground level via a successful Pledge Music campaign. The ‘Battle’ EP also includes appearances from very special guests, featuring remixes and instrumentation from well known artists.

Lionface: Vampire

Lionface: Vampire Lyrics:
See me, believe everything I tell you
Or revel in my lies
I can entertain you on my good days
See me with your eyes
See me with your eyes
My body’s gone but there’s a world in my mind
My body’s gone but there’s a world in my mind
And night won’t be far behind

Meet me, triple 9 in this container
I’m the devil trapped inside
And I’ll return the favour in heavy metal
Read the words I write
Read the words I write
My body’s gone but there’s a world in my mind
My body’s gone but there’s a world in my mind
And night won’t be far behind

[CHORUS]
Vampire, I’ve become
In the myth of what I’ve done
I love the night I fear the sun
Dawn breaks, I’ll be done
In the light I see the gun
I love the night, I fear the sun

Free me, unlock doors to be my saviour
Before they walk me to my grave
If shadow marks my paper
I need to be saved
Bleed the words I write
Bleed the words I write
My body’s gone but there’s a world in my mind
My body’s gone but there’s a world in my mind

[CHORUS]
I’m starting to fear that I’m losing control in here
