Laura Welsh – Undiscovered

Following on from her sensational track Cold Front earlier this summer, British vocalist Laura Welsh has returned with new single Undiscovered. Undiscovered’ is a gliding pop song underpinned with plaintive piano, atmospheric soundscapes and a propulsive-yet-gentle beat. At the centre of it lies Welsh’s mesmeric vocal. The song – which premiered on The Fader – was written with collaborator Dev Hynes – whom Welsh collaborated with on her Luv Luv Luv released single ‘Unravel’. It was recorded and produced in New York by Lana Del Rey and Kanye West collaborator Emile Haynie and will feature on Welsh’s forthcoming debut album, which will be released early next year.

Laura Welsh – Undiscovered

Laura Welsh – Undiscovered Lyrics:
(Verse)
You’re the only one that I’ve got
But I can’t get lost in you
I can’t get lost in you

(Verse)
It can be someone I know
To make it up to you
Make it up to you

Uuu uuuu uuuu
Uuu uuuu uuuu

(Chorus x2)
You’re undiscovered
I wanna see the rest of you
I can’t get next to you
I can’t get next to you

(Verse)
You don’t wanna look ahead
When it’s staring back at you
Staring back at you

Uuu uuuu uuuu
Uuu uuuu uuuu
Baby I’m about to lose
Uuu uuuu uuuu
But I can’t decipher you

(Chorus x2)
You’re undiscovered
I wanna see the rest of you
I can’t get next to you
I can’t get next to you

(Bridge x2)
It’s evident that you never were fully person
In a composition
Holding in what you really want
Left no evidence that you were listening

(Chorus x4)
You’re undiscovered
I wanna see the rest of you
I can’t get next to you
I can’t get next to you
