Laura Welsh: Sex & Violence

Following on from her sensational track Cold Front earlier this summer, British vocalist Laura Welsh has returned with new single. The recording artist, known as the vocalist on Gorgon City’s smash “Here for You“ has returned with emotionally perfect new single “Sex & Violence“. Melodic piano, pulsating base and penetrating voice, a fantastic first taste of what’s to come. Welsh is currently working on her second studio album due out sometime next year.

Laura Welsh: Sex & Violence

Speaking about the track, the excitingly talented Staffordshire-born singer/writer/producer, says: “…I always write from my heart, from what I observe and most importantly what I see as the truth in experience. Creatively this has possibly been the strongest year of my life which I expect is due to much of the turbulence that has gone on…””

Laura Welsh: Sex & Violence

Laura Welsh: Sex & Violence Lyrics:
Revelations of cruel intentions, Starring at the ghost
Everything I know, turning tables
And power struggles
I could sell my soul,
Bye bye self control

Laying in the darkness, we’re so beautiful
Oh, so beautiful, Oh, so beautiful
In the morning after it’s the cold withdraw
No, we won’t remember anything at all

We were bright and innocent,
We’ve given up in the end
We’ve given up in the end
Thought I was swept ??
Follow instant. Sex & violence, Sex & violence

In room sixty seen a body
Starting to unfold into the unknown
Maybe it’s the way you try to keep control,
Maybe it’s a lesson, and you should let it go

We were bright and innocent,
We’ve given up in the end
We’ve given up in the end
Thought I was swept ??
Follow instant. Sex & violence, Sex & violence

No limit, no limit
You stop making sense
Can we be honest? Be honest?
Now we’re not so innocent
Now we’re not so innocent

We were bright and innocent,
We’ve given up in the end
We’ve given up in the end
Thought I was swept ??
Follow instant. Sex & violence, Sex & violence.
