As a southern belle, born and raised in Houma, LA (right outside of New Orleans) Jade was influenced by the cultural melting pot of jazzy, innovative sounds from the Bayou. Jade’s artistry grew and was cultivated by the rhythm of dance, passion of the theater, and adoration of the camera. While revealing strengths and struggle, constantly being humbled, and pushed Jade credits New York with opening her eyes to reality! In New York Jade was forced to face her fears and conquered them with a series of journals which took on a sonic form: “Jaded.”
