Hares – Just A Picture

Three piece band HARES combine the lovelorn themes of the great rock & roll singers like Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly combined with the uplifting soul of Exile-era Stones and a slight country-tinged lyrical melancholy of Gram Parsons. In mid 2012 their debut EP, Coastlines, was well received by critics, topping the Music Week Top Ten Playlist with radio support from Steve Lamacq, Huw Stevens, Janice Long, and they made it to XFM’s Exposure Top 5 list. They toured the UK extensively with One Night Only, have performed at Glastonbury, T in the Park, Hop Farm, and Strummer of Love festivals and recently featured in legendary fashion photographer RANKIN’s Hunger magazine. Lead singer Robb Skipper has come from a rich musical heritage, having previously played with The Holloways, collaborated with Jamie T, Babyshambles, Patrick Wolf and The Urban Voodoo Machine.
