Gold Fields is frontman Mark Fuller and bandmates Vinci Andanar (guitar), Ryan D’Sylva (drums), Rob Clifton (keys/percussion) and Luke Peldys (bass). Fuller and Andanar played music together years ago as teenagers, and, after their respective high school outfits wrapped up, invited D’Sylva to join them. It was while watching a now forgotten band’s killer set at 2009’s Falls Festival that Andanar and D’Sylva had their epiphany. It was time for the young trio to forge a whole new sound.
