Elliot Root – Chemical Sweat

Elliot Root is an American alternative music group based in the heart of Music City Nashville. “These new recordings have been somewhat of a discovery in the process” says Scott Krueger, of Elliot Root. “We have always been chasing after something with the music, I’m not saying that we’ve found exactly what it is that we are chasing, but the honesty of exploring things as they come to you has created something in it’s own right. I think that’s what these new EP’s are”.

Elliot Root – Chemical Sweat

Elliot Root – Chemical Sweat Lyrics:
It’s a 24/7, working your fingers to the bond kind of reep
And it’s a human condition
Trying my best to turn it into my disease
I keep my money where my mouth is
I don’t know why
We’ve never tasted this through design
Leaving chance, such a faint disguise
I will find my own way up

Somebody told me to call you
I don’t know why
Somebody told me to call you
I don’t know why
It’s a chemical sweat
Keeping me up at night
It’s a chemical sweat
Keeping me up at night
I don’t know why

And now I’m walking in a straight line
I don’t know where it goes
Everybody’s looking up for a something weak
But it’s always a joke
I’ll keep my money where my mouth is
Till my teeth run dry
??? but I can’t let it go

Somebody told me to call you
I don’t know why
Somebody told me to call you
I don’t know why
It’s a chemical sweat
Keeping me up at night
It’s a chemical sweat
Keeping me up at night
I don’t know why
