Chanté Moore – Talking In My Sleep

Moore is More” is Chanté Moore’s first album in five years, and first release via Shanachie Records. Moore referred to the album as a reflection of her life at the moment, and added that it is therefore aggressive, happy, joyful, and bubbly. In an interview with soulmusic.com in May 2013, the singer explained: “I am having fun being able to sing about things that I can’t talk about. There are break-up issues and emotions that I feel regarding my last marriage. There’s lots of things that just aren’t even proper to even say out loud, except I can sing about them because it just makes more sense”. The album includes a cover of Jazz classic Cry Me a River. The single “Jesus, I Want You” was written by Chanté’s sister. It was featured on episode 2 of R&B Divas: Los Angeles, where Chanté Moore is shooting the video for the song. Moore is More features the singles “Talking In My Sleep” and “Jesus, I Want You”. Wikipedia®.

Chanté Moore – Talking In My Sleep Lyrics:
Well baby now that you know.
Maybe I’m a little bit guilty.
When he walks by I hope it don’t show.
When my thoughts get a little bit filthy.
But I keep that door closed.
Honey, even if it kills me.
But I guess it don’t matter now.

Let’s wonder what you’d do.
If I had to tell you.
You had to face the truth.
Then silence is better.
Loving you I always give you whatever.
So how did you get.

Baby I’ve been talking in my sleep.
I know that you can see it on my face.
But honey all the secrets that I keep.
But now you know there’s someone else.
Wish you’d never stand and hear my sleep.
But in reality I know I crossed that line.
Why do my fantasies have to be goodbye, more than talking.

Wish I kept my mouth shut.
In the middle of the night.
When I’m with ‘m gonna sleep tight.
Is there something missing in my life.
A little looking don’t touch.
Is all that I’m giving.
But maybe I’m too much.
