The New Orleans born Chanel Haynes of gospel group Trin-I-Tee 5:7 has released the lyric video to her solo single titled Believe, and it’s a winner as she preps to release her debut album TRIN-I-TEE 5:7 ACCORDING TO CHANEL off of her very own independent Obsidian Records label in early 2014. Formly of Trini-i-tee 5:7, Chanel Haynes steps forward as a solo artist. Her new single “Believe” builds on the same creative vein as her past body of work, which interlocks the contemporary sound styling with inspirational messages.

“I am truly excited about releasing my ‘Believe’ single and lyric video,” said Chanel. “When I was young, I was inspired musically and spiritually by music from Andraé Crouch, Sandra Crouch and The Hawkins Family. I wrote ‘Believe’ to honor them. When I started working on this song I closed my eyes and imagined I was in the living room with my mom as a kid, listening to all their early records. The lyrics just started flowing through me!”
