Anne-Marie’s debut EP, aptly named Karate (she is a three-time world champion), fuses electronic soul and atmospheric synths with R&B/pop leanings. Title track ‘Karate’ explores themes of desire over sensual vocals and ethereal beats and is a taste of what’s to come from the rising talent. Anne-Marie has worked with an array of up-and-coming producers over the four tracks: Josh Record, Two Inch Punch, Brad Ellis and more.
You might already recognise the Essex-born star-in-waiting – Anne-Marie became a staple member in Hackney collective Rudimental’s live band over the past couple of years, performing in front of thousands at the likes of Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Ibiza Rocks and touring world-wide.
